What Dayzuntil stores

Countdowns, holiday and time-zone preferences, your colour-scheme choice, any notes you write on holiday pages, and your cookie choice are stored in your browser's local storage. The site uses this information to show your countdowns and remember your settings. The site’s own scripts do not set cookies; the only cookies come from Google Analytics, and only if you accept them. If you have not chosen a colour scheme, the site follows your device's dark-mode preference.

This information stays in that browser on that device; Dayzuntil does not send it to a Dayzuntil account or application server. It remains until you remove it using your browser's site-data controls. Clearing that data also removes your saved countdowns and preferences.

Sharing countdowns

Sharing is initiated by you using your device's share feature or clipboard. A shared countdown link may contain the countdown name, date, repeat setting, and (for a stream) its stream link. Anyone who receives that link may be able to see those details. Avoid including information you do not want to share.

The shift planner saves your pattern, shift names and colours, and any overlay pattern (such as a partner's shifts or school days) in your browser's local storage on this device only. None of it is uploaded.

Advertising, analytics, and external services

Dayzuntil does not currently run advertising. The site includes the Google tag (Google Analytics, measurement ID G-8NNWHC4GBX) on every page, with all consent switched off by default. Until you accept the cookie notice, no analytics cookies are set, but Google's tag may still receive basic, cookie-free signals such as the page address, your IP address and browser details, which Google uses for modelled measurement. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies and records how you use the site so the site operator can see how it is used. You can change your choice at any time: . You can also delete cookies using your browser's site-data controls. The site otherwise uses locally hosted page code and system fonts. If advertising or other external services are added, this notice and any required consent choices must be updated before those services are enabled.

When you visit the site, its hosting provider necessarily handles network requests. The provider may process technical information such as your IP address, request time, and browser details in server or security logs. The site operator must check the host's terms and retention settings to confirm the details that apply to this site.

Contacting us

You can reach us at support@dayzuntil.com or through the contact page. The contact form doesn't send anything through the website; it opens your own email app with the message filled in, and the message only reaches us if you send it. We use what you send, and your email address, only to respond to you.
